Three members of the St. Lawrence University softball team have received Liberty League all-conference honors as part of the end of season awards, the conference office announced Tuesday.
Allison Kloft was named to the all-Liberty League first team as an infielder,
Vivian Johnson was tabbed for the second team as an infielder, and utility player
Maeve Thompson received an all-Liberty League honorable mention.
Kloft led the team in hits as a sophomore, ranking second in the conference with 50. She also led the team in RBIs (36) and extra base hits (12). One of just two St. Lawrence players to start all 37 of the team's games, the native of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif. had 123 at-bats to place third in the conference in that category. The Saints' starting third baseman had a strong season statistically in the hot corner, only recording four errors for a .957 fielding percentage.
Johnson had a career year at the dish in her senior year, as the Saints' starting shortstop had a career-high batting average of .374 at the end of the campaign. Her five triples led the Scarlet and Brown, and placed her second overall in the Liberty League. She was also third in the conference in runs scored with 34.
A sophomore from Burlington, Ontario, Canada, Thompson finished the 2025 campaign leading St. Lawrence in OPS at 1.010. She had an average of .412, good for a team lead and third-best in the conference.
