The St. Lawrence University men's track and field team opened the 2025–26 indoor season at the Saints Holiday Relays on Friday at Newell Field House. The Saints placed first in the team standings with 169 points.
St. Lawrence earned several wins on the track.
Riley Cushman won the 600-meter run in 1:26.03, followed closely by teammate
Cyrus Goetze in second at 1:26.89.
Luke Calvin finished first in the mile run with a time of 5:09.23.
The Saints added another track win in the 60-meter hurdles, where
Erik Marelli placed first.
Caleb Young and
Bodie Molnar both scored in the 300-meter dash, with Young taking second in 35.62 and Molnar placing fourth in 35.94.
The Saints also swept the relays.
Carter Daniels, Jacon Kunin, Kris Mellor, and
Brendan O'Horo took first in the 4x200-meter relay in 1:37.85. Young, Molnar, Cushman, and
John Mahoney combined for a first-place finish in the sprint medley relay in 3:47.84.
In the field events, St. Lawrence earned more top finishes. O'Horo cleared 3.95 meters to win the pole vault. Mahoney added another victory with a 6.31-meter mark in the long jump.
Erik Schneider won his event with a throw of 12.47 meters and later placed third in the shot put at 10.37 meters.
St. Lawrence continues its indoor season when athletes return to campus in 2026.
