The Saints produced quality chances early, as Eagles' goaltender Grace Campbell made seven saves in the opening five minutes to preserve the lead and keep the Saints scoreless.

The game-tying goal came off the stick of Hehl on the power play.
Ella Nancarrow took a shot from the top of the right circle, Hehl was able to collect the rebound from Campbell and lift the puck over her leg pad for the Saints second goal and Hehl's third of the season.
Hehl's goal forced the Saints sixth overtime of the season.
Just 16 second into the extra frame and a broken play off the faceoff landed in the hands of BC. Thomas beat the defense and slipped a low back-handed shot past Lawrence for the win.
"Another real good third period comeback for us," said head coach
Chris Wells. "I've been real happy with our resilience each game to stay with it. One of the hardest things to do in sports, especially hockey, is to chase while being behind. We have played a bunch of games recently where we have been behind and still have been getting better, while having the proper attitude and effort to get on top. It will happen. In golf the saying goes, hit it, find it and hit it again! We will be back tomorrow to hit it, find it and hit it again!"
"Overtime hasn't been our friend, but we will continue to work on things to get better outcomes in our future games."
Lawrence finished with 29 saves for the Scarlet and Brown, while Campbell stopped 33 for the Eagles.
St. Lawrence outshot Boston College 66-53 and led 36-33 in shots on goal. The Saints went 1-for-2 on the power play, while the Eagles finished 0-for-3.
The pair of teams will meet back at Conte Forum tomorrow afternoon for game two of the weekend series at 2 p.m.
