Avery Blanchard paced the St. Lawrence University women's cross country team with a sixth-place finish as the Saints earned second overall at the 2025 Liberty League Championship on Saturday at the Hoffmann Cross Country Course.

"It was a terrific day on the Hoffmann Course for the Liberty League Championships today," said head coach
Kate Howard. "Our goal is always to be at our very best as we enter the championship stretch, and today was certainly our best race of the season so far. We've got great momentum as we turn our focus to the NCAA Regional Championships and we can't wait to run here at home on Hoff in two weeks."

Blanchard completed the six-kilometer race in 22:51.1, earning All-Liberty League First Team honors.
Charlotte Blake and
Quinn Sirgany followed close behind, finishing ninth and 10th with times of 23:04.1 and 23:04.8, respectively. Sirgany earned Second Team All-Liberty League recognition for her top-10 effort.

Madison Beaudoin placed 14th in 23:20.2, continuing an impressive first-year campaign with a Second Team All-Liberty League nod, while senior captain
Cameran Stone was in 37th at 24:24.7.

Paige Poirier crossing the line in 53
rd at 25:16.5, and Eleanor Waite finishing 58
th in 25:33.4.

With four runners finishing in the top 15, the Saints secured the runner-up position in a deep and competitive conference field. St. Lawrence will return to the Hoffmann Course on Saturday, November 15 when it hosts the NCAA Mideast Regional.
