The St. Lawrence University women's cross country team competed at the Connecticut College Invitational on Saturday, highlighted by strong performances and several personal bests across both the Blue and White six-kilometer races.

A very deep field took the Harkness Park course, with the top five teams in the country and 17 nationally-ranked programs competing.  

The Saints placed 21st in the blue race, led by Charlotte Blake, who finished 60th overall with a personal best time of 22:08.2. Avery Blanchard followed in 78th at 22:28.9, and Quinn Sirgany crossed the line in 22:44.8.

Carly Zack ran 22:38.5, while Madison Beaudoin recorded a personal best of 23:43.5 to round out the team's top five. Cameran Stone also set a personal best with a time of 24:02.8, and Paige Poirier had a time of 24:40.9.

In the white race, Alivia Hopsicker represented St. Lawrence and finished in 26:41.2, improving her previous best by 48 seconds. The Saints did not record a team score in that race.

St. Lawrence enters championship season on Saturday, November 1, for the Liberty League Championships hosted by Clarkson, but will get the benefit of hosting the event at the Ronald C. Hoffmann Cross Country Course.
