The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team bounced back from a tough loss yesterday with a 9-0 win on Sunday afternoon at Bard in Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y.
The Saints improved to 11-7 with the win and 4-3 in Liberty League play, while Bard fell to 2-9 and 0-8 in league play.
In doubles play, the duo teams of

Abigail Sicuranza and
Meredith Macey/
Maya Stepic occupied the two and three spots and each came away with 8-0 wins. At one,
Angelica Aksdal-Jansen and
Molly Jespersen relented a point but won 8-1 over Hanna Okalava and Maya Kelly.
In singles play,
Yvette Karera and
Ariane Karera occupied the number one and two spot with Yvette winning 6-4, 6-1, and Ariane winning 6-2, 6-1.
At three,
Ellie Fritz took on Paige Houghton winning 6-2, 6-0, while Sicuranza and
Sarah Oldland dominated their way to 6-0, 6-0 wins at four and five. In the sixth spot,
Alexandra Fuller took on Lisa Kyrtoka and won 6-1, 6-0.
The Scarlet and Brown will wrap up their regular season slate next week when the team hosts William Smith on Senior Day at noon next Saturday, April 27.
