Rosie Phillips. "We were hitting the ball well with a lot of smoked ball that were tracked well by the Potsdam defense. We persisted in the second game with a great seventh inning fight, and our pitchers performed well under pressure. We're grateful we have the chance to get some non-league games in to stay tuned up for league play this weekend."
With the split afternoon, St. Lawrence is now 5-17 on the year, and took three out of four against their route 11 rivals, who are 6-18. The Saints return to Saints' Softball Field on Friday afternoon with a doubleheader against RIT, with game one scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
