Prior to St. Lawrence

Rose was a two-time All-state selection for Maine-Endwell, where she also played basketball and field hockey. She was the captain of the field hockey team and earned All-Conference honors. A four-year honor roll student and a member of the National Honor Society, Rose played club softball for the NY Lady Rebels U18 Gold.
