It took just six matches for the Saints to get to five wins as the No. 20 St. Lawrence University men's squash team rolled to a 7-2 win over No. 28 Dickinson in Carlisle, Pa. on Friday night.
The Scarlet and Brown improved to 3-3 on the year, while Dickinson fell to 1-7.
The Saints got off to a red-hot start getting wins at one, six, and seven to take a 3-0 lead.
At one,
Lewis Anderson remained undefeated on the year with an 11-1, 11-5, 11-4 win over Omar Ali.
In the number six match,
Vladimir Iglesias swept Patrick Noonan 11-6, 12-10, 11-5 to earn the win. Then at seven, Patrick Walfor would match with an 11-6, 11-5, 11-7 sweep.
The fourth win came at number five where
Harry Robson earned an 11-7, 11-3, 11-5 sweep.
After dropping a match, the Saints clinched the match at number eight where captain
Jack Turvey took down Samuel Knipp 11-5, 11-4, 11-6.
With the win in hand,
Inwoo Lee also remained undefeated with an 11-7, 11-6, 11-3 win at number two. At number nine
Harrison Callaway also swept with an 11-6, 11-4, 11-7 win over Jack Corkum.
The Scarlet and Brown will remain in Pennsylvania as the team will travel to Lancaster, Pa. to take on Franklin and Marshall at 3:00 p.m. tomorrow afternoon.
