Head coach Kate Howard
"It was great to see the team carry the momentum we built in day one of the championships into day two. We had some tremendous performances across the event groups this weekend highlighted by individual event victories from Kath Merchant in javelin,
Emma Palumbo in the steeplechase, and Kim Merchant in the discus. We always look to be at our best in the championship portion of the season so it was terrific to see all of our hard work and consistency pay off with so many lifetime best performances. It was great to get back to two full seasons of track and field during this academic year. We are so proud of this team for all of their hard work and determination and for finishing this portion of the season on such a high note."
