"I thought it was a gutsy effort tonight," said head coach Mike Mahoney. "We struggled a bit in the first half, but the two goals that bookended halftime gave us a nice jumpstart going into the third quarter. The players didn't panic and just kept battling against a really tough team."

Joseph Bussinelli, Dylan Hanley and Madden all scored two goals for the Golden Bears.

William Helm finished with 14 saves for the Saints, while Carter Randall made 17 for Western New England.
