Â
Sophie Holden put the Saints up 3-0 with two minutes and 30 seconds left in the period. St. Lawrence was back on the power-play seconds after playing four-on-four, and Guerriero carried the puck into the zone and passed it to

Â
After the first, St. Lawrence also held a 13-7 edge on shots.
Â

Â
"Once again we were able to have a great start," said head coach
Chris Wells '92. "Four different players scored and others had some great chances. Lucy was solid in net and kept Union from scoring. Getting 6 points on the road is a good start for us. Just looking at the scores from the other games, we all know it's going to be a wild season with some great games!"
Â
Morgan finished with 25 saves for her second straight shutout and Rinzel finished with 24 saves for the Dutchwomen.
Â
St. Lawrence went 30-for-59 at the face-off circle, converted on three of their six power-plays, and successfully killed all seven of their penalties.
Â
With the win, St. Lawrence improved to 5-2-2 overall and 2-0-0 in conference play, while Union fell to 2-8-1 and 0-4-0.
