Aly McLeod, who sent the puck up the ice to finding Gout. Shots were even at 10 each after the first.
Â
Late in the second,
Rachel Bjorgan improved the lead to 3-0 with her second goal of the year. Shailynn snow connected with Elia off a turnover, who passed the puck to Bjorgan at the blue line. Bjorgan fired it from the top of the left circle and past Syracuse goaltender Arielle DeSmet's shoulder.

Lucy made some big saves to bail us out and we were opportunistic on our third goal to settle things down. In the third period we played hard and we were able to finish off the game."
Â
Syracuse had several good chances, but Saints' goaltender
Lucy Morgan kept the Saints in the lead, finishing the night with 23 saves and a .958 save percentage. Syracuse goaltender Allison Small was between the pipes for the first period and finished with eight saves. DeSmet played the second and third for the Orange and finished with 19.
