Five members of the St. Lawrence University women's basketball team netted double digits in the Saints 99-50 win over Bard in conference play Saturday afternoon in Burkman Gymnasium.
Katie Frederick and
Jenny Scudder each recorded 14 points for the Scarlet and Brown and combined for 11 rebounds.
Katie Gallagher added 12 points and eight rebounds, while
Meghan Hynes and
Annabella Pugliese each scored 11 points. Pugliese,
Caroline Rodi and
Kaelyn Kohlasch each added two steals for the Saints.
Scudder went 5-for-7 from the floor and 2-for-3 from the arc, while Frederick shot 7-for-9.
St. Lawrence opened play and built a 24-10 lead over the Raptors by the end of the first quarter and maintained the lead for the remainder of the contest.
The Saints out shot Bard in the second and third quarters by 21-15 and 24-8 to continue increasing their lead over the Raptors.

Marlee Gunn and
Tori Bruno each landed 3-pointers down the stretch in the fourth quarter, helping the Saints build a 46-point lead over the Raptors.

Julia Breit each recorded career-highs in today's win. St. Lawrence recorded 29 assists on a total of 41 baskets.Â
Bard was led by Sarah Morris with 19 points, shooting 6-for-15 from the floor and 1-for-2 from the arc, and five rebounds, while Caleigh DeCaprio and Erin Kennedy added 12 and 11, respectively. DeCaprio shot 4-for-10 from the field and added five assists for the Raptors.
With the win, St. Lawrence improved to 13-5 overall and 8-3 in Liberty League play, while Bard fell to 0-17 and 0-11.
The Saints will hit the road, traveling to William Smith and RIT on February 2-3.
