Dennis Third, Saints Sixth at Tim Brown Invitational

April 19: Parker Dennis shot rounds of 74 and 73 to finish in a four way tie for third as St. Lawrence University's men's golf team finished sixth in the nine-team Tim Brown Invitational hosted by Skidmore College at the Ballston Spa Country Club Saturday and Sunday.

The Saints shot rounds of 317 and 311 as a team for a 628 total. Host Skidmore won the tournament with 293-298-591 while NYU was second at 598 and Farmingdale was third at 606.

Dennis matched his low 36 as a Saint player with his 147 and recorded his second top five finish He is a junior who started his collegiate career at Eckert College.

Junior Jake Danforth was the second Saint finisher in the tournament finishing tied for 16th at 153 after following an opening round 79 with a three-over 74 on Sunday. Jack Reardon shot rounds of 82 and 80 to finish at 162 while Colin Dowd and Brady Garrett completed the Saint scoring with 169 totals. Dowd shot 82 on Saturday and was the fourth Saint scorer while Garrett was the fourth Saint scorer on Sunday with an 84.

The Saints will return to action at Oswego next weekend.
