Prior to St. Lawrence

Funk played volleyball and basketball at Barnstable High School. The two-sport captain, earned Old Colony League All-Star honors in 2018 and Cape and Islands All-Star and Massachusetts Girls Volleyball Coaches Association All-State Player in 2019, and was a two-time State Semi-Finalist (2017, 2019) and a State Finalist in 2018 in volleyball. In basketball, she earned Old Colony League All-Star honors (2018-2019) and Cape and Islands All-Star honors (2019-2020). She was a member and secretary of the National Honor Society, a member of MuAlphaThata - Math National Honor Society and an honor roll student.
