The St. Lawrence University volleyball program and head coach Shelly Roiger are excited to announce Emma Lorenzen as the graduate assistant coach for the 2021 season.

Lorenzen, a graduate of McDaniel College, has a degree in communication and a minor in marketing and achieved a 3.49 GPA. Lorenzen was a team captain for the Green Terror, who went 58-31 during her four-year career. As a middle blocker and outside hitter, she averaged 1.94 kills per set and had a .233 hitting percentage to go along with .65 blocks per set.

Along with her athletic achievements, the Hagerstown, Maryland native, was the social media representative for the college's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, the president of McDaniel's Women's Networking for Athletes organization and did various journalism work for the athletic department.
