Prior to St. Lawrence

Schwabe was a member of the Alpine ski racing, tennis, softball and track and field teams at Oconomowoc High School. She was captain of the ski team and earned First-Team All-Conference and First-Team All-State honors and was a National Qualifier. She was a four-time scholar athlete, a member of both the English and Social Studies Honor Societies and an honor roll student.
