Biography
2016-17: Brendel rowed in the second varsity eight to kick off the spring season at Ithaca… She also helped the second varsity eight to a first-place finish at Hamilton and the women’s JV boat to a third-place finish at the New York State Championships.
2015-16: Brendel helped row the novice eight to a sixth-place finish at the Head of the Fish Regatta to wrap up the 2015 fall season… She also helped the novice four and novice eight row to a first-place finish in the Major’s Cup Races on the team’s spring break trip to Tampa, Florida… The novice eight won first place in the Liberty League Championships with a time of 8:34.50… The novice eight also earned Liberty League Novice Boat of the Year.
Prior to St. Lawrence
Brendel played field hockey, competed on the Alpine ski team and was a member of the crew team at Hanover High School … She was the captain of the crew and Alpine teams as well as an honor roll student ... She was a New Hampshire High School Scholar-Athlete award winner.
