2016-17: Phipps helped the second varsity eight to a fourth-place finish at Hamilton.

2015-16: Phipps rowed in the third varsity eight and placed fourth in the Mayor’s Cup during the team’s spring break trip to Tampa, Florida.

Prior to St. Lawrence
Phipps was a member of the wrestling team and competed on the rowing team at Cab Calloway … He was named an Academic All-State wrestler and earned honor roll recognition.
