2016-17: Tunkara rowed in the third varsity eight boat and placed fifth at Hamilton.

2015-16: Tunkara rowed in the third varsity eight and placed fourth in the Mayor’s Cup during the team’s spring break trip to Tampa, Florida… The third varsity eight also took home fourth-place in the second heat at the New York State Championships.

Prior to St. Lawrence
Tunkara was an honor roll student that was both the captain and MVP for the JV basketball team ... The Bronx, N.Y. native also played on the varsity basketball team.
