In her final collegiate race at the National Invitational Rowing Championships (NIRC) in May, Cone helped the Camels varsity eight boat record a school-record time of 7:02.263 to win the fourth finals.

"What impressed me most when I interviewed Camden was her maturity and understanding of the team dynamics necessary to accomplish collective goals," head coach George Repicky said. "More than any other sport rowers depend on their teammates for their personal success.  It's clear that through her experience of being the captain of her program Camden understood a lot of what was necessary and wasn't afraid to express it to her teammates.  I am sure she will work to help continue the development of that culture within our program."

Cone was a member of the 2018 NESCAC Spring All-Sportsmanship Team, a 2018 All-NESCAC honoree and a two-time NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team member.

She received a bachelor's degree in sociology from Connecticut College with a minor in architectural studies and was a Dean's high honors student.
