Amanda Brewer was named the assistant rowing coach at St. Lawrence University, her alma mater, in the summer of 2013.

Brewer, a member of the class of 2012, is a Saranac Lake, NY native and earned her Bachelor's degree from St. Lawrence in biology and English. 

Brewer rowed for the Saints' women's team for four years during her collegiate tenure and was the recipient of both the Frank A. Augsbury North Country Scholarship and the Colburn Scholarship.
