St. Lawrence enters today's matches following a straight-set win over SUNY Potsdam on Tuesday, where the Scarlet and Brown downed the Bears 25-18, 25-22, 25-16. Senior setter Vanessa Latam enters this Friday's triad sitting at 1,999 career assists following a 29-helper outing down Route 11 in Potsdam. 

Araiza Acum-Santos had the team-high in kills with 13 in the win over the Bears, the only member of either team to reach double figures in that category.

The Saints have six first-years and a transfer moving into the fold to replace the team's departing seniors. Those seven newcomers include first years Cara VitarisiRiley HeenanSofie GiannelliMcKayla PollardNaiyah Reece, and Alexandra WagnerAni Flittie also joins the Scarlet and Brown for her junior year, transferring to St. Lawrence from Liberty League rival Bard and adding depth to the experienced Saints' lineup in the process.

The Saints' offense ran through Araiza Acum-Santos in 2026, who topped the team with 317 kills. The performance pushed her into fourth place on the program's all-time career kills-per-set list at 2.86.

Vanessa Latam set the tempo from the setter position, dishing out a team-high 793 assists as team captain. Latam and Bridget Gammons will lead the team as captains in 2026.

Gammons closed out her sophomore year with a milestone of her own, wrapping up as the program's all-time leader in hitting percentage at a program-best .286 through two seasons.
