Conlin Bradshaw and first-year
Joey Degnan tied for 14th place and led the St. Lawrence University men's golf team to an eighth place finish at the highly competitive Duke Nelson Invitational hosted by Middlebury in Vermont this weekend.
Bradshaw shot a 72, just one-over par, and tied for third after Saturday's round. Bradshaw shot a 79 on Sunday to tie for 14th with a 151.
Joey Degnan shot a 75 and tied for 15th place, he moved up one spot to tie Bradshaw's 151.
Charles Novak tied for 59th with a 158, while
Kevin Dillon tied for 67th with a 161 and
Morgan Barbuto tied for 93rd with a 167 in a field of 104 golfers and 20 teams.
Amherst's Andre Zhang claimed the individual title with a 143 (73, 70, +1) on the weekend.
Middlebury moved up two spots to claim the team title at their home invitational with a 594 (299, 295, +26). St. Lawrence placed eighth out of 20 teams with a combined 620 (299, 321, +52) on the weekend.
