Season Recap: Saints Record Five Top Three Finishes in 2025-26; Place Sixth at Conference Championships

The St. Lawrence University men's golf team recorded five top-three finishes in 2025-26 and wrapped up the season with a sixth-place finish at the Liberty League Championships at the end of April.

The Saints opened the season with a mid-week second-place tie at the Clarkson Invitational and closed out the first week of the season with another second-place result at their home St. Lawrence University Invitational at the Oliver D. Appleton Golf Course.

SLU also finished third at SUNY Canton, third at Hamilton, and second at SUNY Delhi, while also playing in the Duke Nelson, Williams, Bowdoin, Skidmore, and Farmingdale Invitationals throughout the season.

At SUNY Delhi, senior Jimmy King took home the individual title with a 69, shooting three-under par, while at SUNY Canton, Kevin Dillon claimed individual honors with a 71, one-under par, for first place. King placed third at the Saints home invitational, while Dillon and first-year Conlin Bradshaw each tied for second at Clarkson.

St. Lawrence finished the three-round conference tournament in sixth place with a 915 (301, 307, 307).

King, who led the Saints in a tie for 16th, shot two over par on Friday, finished at par on Saturday with three birdies and an eagle on hole 18. King finished off the weekend with a 77 to tie for 16th with a 223.  

Dillon placed 20th finishing the weekend with a three-round total of 227. Ben DeBiase dropped five strokes off his score from Saturday with a 75 on Sunday for a combined 232 on the weekend and placed 28th.

Gabe Ward and Bradshaw tied for 30th with a 236. Bradshaw shot a 76 on Sunday, while Ward shot a 79.

The Saints graduated six seniors in the Class of 2026 – Ben DeBiase, Owen Donovan, Jimmy King, Ryan McNamara, George Sherbrooke, and Gabe Ward.
