Jimmy King shot par to lead the St. Lawrence University men's golf team after round one of the Farmingdale Spring Invitational on Saturday in Farmingdale N.Y.

King finished the day with a 70 at the Bethpage State Park Golf Course, birdieing holes three, six, 13 and 15.

Ben DeBiase and Conlin Bradshaw each shot two-over par and tied for 31st place with a 72, while Kevin Dillon and Gabe Ward each shot a 75 and tied for 59th. Dillon shot an eagle on hole 15.

Connor Murphy competed as an individual and shot a 79.

St. Lawrence sits ninth out of 16 teams, with a combined 289 after round one. Babson leads the team scoring after round one with a 273, shooting seven under.
