Game one: St. Lawrence 4, Ithaca 9
Ithaca opened the scoring in game one of the doubleheader with a pair of runs in the third inning and added single tallies in each of the fourth, fifth, and sixth frames to build a 5-1 advantage.
St. Lawrence's run came in the bottom of the third when
Willie Landman and
Eddie Morrissey set the table with back‑to‑back singles. Donnellan then lined a two‑out single to right field to score Landman and put the Saints on the board.
Joe Laprade kept the Saints within striking distance through seven innings, working efficiently and inducing three double plays behind him. However, Ithaca pushed across two more runs in the eighth to stretch the margin to 7-1.
The Bombers added insurance in the ninth to make it 9-1, but St. Lawrence tried to start a rally in the bottom half of the inning.
Eoin Morrissey earned a pinch-hit single, and
Gabe Albertson reached base on an error.
Eddie Morrissey capped the surge with a three‑run homer to right field, bringing the Saints within five before Ithaca closed out the game two at-bats later.
Morrissey finished 3‑for‑4 with a home run and three RBI, while Landman recorded three hits and scored a run. Donnellan went 1‑for‑3 with a walk and an RBI.
LaPrade threw seven innings on the hill, striking out one Bomber, while

Game two: St. Lawrence 8, Ithaca 7

Nathan Jackson came into the game earlier than expected to steady the tides for the Saints. Â
St. Lawrence answered right away in the bottom half of the inning. After
Jack Finnegan worked a leadoff walk and Widrick reached on an error, Gannon ripped a double to the left field fence to drive in the Saints' first run.
Eddie Morrissey and Donnellan each followed with sacrifice flies, capping the three‑run response and tying the game at 3‑3.
Ithaca moved back in front in the fourth inning with a run to take a 4‑3 lead, but the Saints responded immediately. Widrick delivered a two‑run single, driving in
Mike Siano and
Ethan Harris, putting St. Lawrence back in control, 5‑4.
The Bombers reclaimed the lead in the sixth, pushing across two runs to go ahead 6‑5, but once again the Saints answered. In the seventh, Gannon doubled to lead off the inning and later scored on another Donnellan sacrifice fly, knotting the game at six all.
Ithaca struck in the top of the eighth to retake the lead, but St. Lawrence produced its biggest moment of the afternoon in the home half.
After a groundout, Harris reached base on a hit by pitch and was moved over by Finnegan, who was also plunked. Widrick delivered the decisive blow with a single to center field. The hit scored Harris to tie the game, but a fielding error in the outfield allowed Finnegan to come across and give the Scarlet and Brown the lead.
Joshua Polumbo shut things down in the top half of the ninth to secure the win.
On the mound,
Nathan Jackson steadied the game with 6.2 innings of relief, earning the win, while
