Ryan Tingley picked up wins in singles play, but the St. Lawrence University men's tennis team fell 5-2 against Hamilton on Monday morning in Orlando, Fla.
St. Lawrence fell to 2-5 with the loss, while Hamilton improved to 4-3.
After the Saints went winless in doubles play,
Josh David was able to pick up a win at number two singles. The first-year took on Lleyton Mendieta and won the matchup 6-4, 6-3.
Then at five, Tingley took on Alexei Katelevsky and after winning the first set 6-3, fell 3-6 in the next. In the winner-take-all set, Tingley took a 10-8 win.
St. Lawrence will be back on the court in the Sunshine State tomorrow when they take on Liberty League foe, Union.
