The St. Lawrence University women's swimming and diving team completed the final day of the Liberty League Championships on Saturday at the Ithaca College Aquatics Center, taking eighth place in the team standings with 415 points.
Ila Musclow provided the top individual performance of the night for the Saints, earning a fifth-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:29.27. She was followed closely by
Amelia Stacy, who won the consolation final to place ninth overall in 2:30.47.
In the 1650-yard freestyle,
Sophie Nelson led the Saints with a 13th-place finish, touching the wall in 18:38.14.
Faith Rhinehart also scored in the event, placing 20th with a time of 20:09.76.
Lilly Mruzik added to the team score in the 200-yard backstroke, finishing 18th overall in 2:14.58.
The Saints closed the championship meet with the 400-yard freestyle relay. The team of Stacy, Mruzik,
Gracie Ringer, and
McKenna Kraft combined for a ninth-place finish, posting a time of 3:47.75.
Ithaca College captured the team title with 1,820 points, while Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute finished second with 1,430.5.
