Ila Musclow highlighted the third day of the 2026 Liberty League Swimming and Diving Championships for the St. Lawrence University women's team, securing a fifth-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke on Friday night at Ithaca College's Kelsey Partridge Bird Natatorium.
The Saints currently sit in eighth place in the team standings heading into the final day of competition. Musclow delivered the team's top individual performance of the night, touching the wall in 1:09.16 to claim fifth in a competitive championship final. Her performance provided a point boost for the Saints, who continue to battle in a field led by host Ithaca College.
In the fly events,
Amelia Stacy and
Garyn Finz both earned scoring positions for St. Lawrence in the 200-yard butterfly. Stacy led the duo with an 11th-place finish, clocking in at 2:19.20, while Finz followed closely in 14th place with a time of 2:20.88. On the backstroke side,
Lilly Mruzik added to the Saints' tally by finishing 18th in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:02.24.
The evening concluded with the 800-yard freestyle relay, where the quartet of
Faith Rhinehart,
McKenna Kraft,
Amelia Stacy, and
Sophie Nelson combined for a ninth-place finish. The team posted a time of 8:26.62 to close out the session.
St. Lawrence will return to the pool tomorrow morning for the fourth and final day of the championships.Â
