Caleb Torres were awarded USILA Division III Scholar All-America honors, as announced by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association on Tuesday morning.
In addition to the Scholar All-America awards, St. Lawrence was also awarded the 2025 Academic Team Award, for posting a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. As a group, the Saints posted a 3.347 cumulative team GPA following the spring semester.
"It is always great to see the guys honored for their academic success as well," said head coach
Mike Mahoney. "I am proud of their success and also that of the team, as they have shown great attention to detail in all facets of their St. Lawrence experience."
Marinello recorded 245 saves for an 8.85 goals against average and a .600 save percentage. He ranked third on the team with 42 ground balls and caused eight turnovers.
Condon won 233 faceoffs for a 57.8 faceoff percentage in 2025. He picked up 147 ground balls, scored four goals, added three assists and caused one turnover.
Torres picked up 29 ground balls, caused 11 turnovers, scored five goals and added an assist for six points.
All three Saints were also awarded USILA All-America accolades, among many other postseason accomplishments.
In 1989 the USILA Scholar All-America Program was established to recognize student-athletes from USILA member institutions who have distinguished themselves academically, athletically and as citizens of their communities. The USILA Selection Committee selects an overall team representing Division I, II and III.
To be awarded Scholar All-American, a student-athlete must be nominated by his coach and be a student with a senior year academic standing and a cumulative grade point average of 3.0. He will have behaved in a manner that has brought credit to himself, his institution, and to college lacrosse both on and off the field. He must also be an All-American, a member of a North/South team, or an outstanding league or conference player. Please note that simply being a member of the North/South team and/or being All-League/Conference does not make the student athlete a lock for the award. Everyone is evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the Scholar AA committee.
