The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team extended their win streak to four, as they cruised past Daemen with a 7-0 sweep on Saturday in the Newell Field House in Canton, N.Y.
In doubles play,
Molly Jespersen and
Eleanor McDermed kicked things off when they beat the tandem of Kitsa Scime, and Yinett Del Leon 6-2.
Ariane Karera and
Yvette Karera, along with the other Saints pair of
Elisa Iuri, and
Angelica Aksdal-Jansen both recorded 6-0 wins in their matchups to secure the match's first point.
For singles, Aksdal-Jansen had an intense match in the one spot against Leon, yet won the first set 6-4 and the second 7-5 to win the point. Dominance from the Scarlet and Brown continued as the remaining Saints went on to win their matches to secure the 7-0 sweep.
St. Lawrence is back in action tomorrow when the Saints face Bard College in the Newell Field House in Canton, N.Y.
