The Scarlet and Brown got hot to start off the second, as Ley scored her second goal of the game, which was followed up by O'Rourke and LaPlaca both scoring to extend their lead to five. Vassar cut the lead back down to three after they scored two goals within a minute of each other, but with 29 seconds left in the half, LaPlaca scored her third goal of the game, making it a 7-3 game going into the half.

"It was a great way to finish off our week on the road," said head coach Tom Ryan. "Vassar has a lot of fire power and our defense stepped up to keep them at bay. Our offense broke out with some great individual performances. The team hung in there when we were 1-3 and it's good to see them rewarded for their effort and commitment."

Zoe Froimovitz made eight saves in the win, and Bree MacMullen made six saves for Vassar.

The Saints return to action March 28th at 3 p.m., when they makeup their previously postponed game against Geneseo at home at the North Country Field in Canton, N.Y.
