O'Rourke played field hockey and lacrosse at New Fairfield High School. She earned CT Class M State Champion (2024), CT Class S State Champion (2021, 2022), South West Conference Champion (2022, 2024), First-Team All-State (2024), Academic All-State (2024), All-SWC (2024), and All-Patriot (2023) honors. She was a team captain her senior year and a member of the National Honor Society.
