Sophomore
Daniel Mahoney led the way with three goals as the No. 12 St. Lawrence University men's lacrosse team fell 11-10 in a tight match against No. 14 Stevenson University at the Callum Robinson Mustang Classic in Stevenson, Md., on Saturday night.

Cam Croasdaile each put up two goals in the effort, while seniors Zach Corsi,
Nate Stevens, and fist-year
Jamie Rosenzweig each scored a goal. Senior Cale Torres picked up four ground balls, and fellow senior Padriac Condon went 19-for-24 in faceoffs, and picked up a team-high nine ground balls.
The Scarlet and Brown came out strong, with Croasdaile and Corsi scoring a goal each to give the Saints a 2-0 lead. The Mustangs responded quick, scoring two goals of their own to tie the game up. St. Lawrence put in two more goals to regain their lead, and end the first quarter up 4-2.
The Saints stayed on the attack in the second, adding two more goals to give them a 6-2 lead with 10 minutes left in the half. Stevenson responded by scoring three straight goals to make it 6-5 at the break.
The Mustangs began the second half by scoring two goals to put them up one, but the Saints found the back of the net once again to tie the game at seven. Both teams traded goals once again, yet the Mustangs gained the edge, as they put in two more goals to give them a 10-8 lead by the end of the third.
In the final quarter of play, the Saints fought back by scoring two straight goals, tying the game up 10-10. It remained tied up until 3:02, when Darrell Curtis found the back of the net for the Mustangs to give them the go-ahead goal. The Saints attempted to respond, yet the Mustangs held them off to secure the 11-10 win.
Senior
Michael Marinello had 10 saves on the night for St. Lawrence, while the Mustang's Tyler Merchant had 16 saves.
St. Lawrence falls to 3-3 with the loss, while Stevenson improves to 6-2.
The Saints look to bounce back when they go on the road to face Skidmore College at Dexter-Southfield School in Brookline, Mass., on Saturday March 22nd at 1 p.m.
