The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team took on SUNY Oneonta on Saturday morning and claimed a 7-0 win at the Newell Field House.
The Scarlet and Brown improved to 1-1 on the season, while the Red Dragons fell to 4-1.
In doubles play, the duos of seniors

John Hill-Edgar,
Broderick Pinto with sophomore
Jake David, and junior
Aidan Baracao with first-year
Charles Schepens all swept their opponents 6-0 to give the Saints the first point in the match.
In singles play, the momentum from doubles carried over as it was all Saints. Strandberg in the one spot along with first-year
Ryan Tingley in the fifth swept their matchups 6-0, 6-0 for the day. Schepens, David and Baracao were able to win their matchups with relative ease from the six, four, and three spots.
The one close game of the day was between Hill-Edgar and Chris Chippari at number two, where Hill-Edgar was able to get the 6-3, 5-7, (10-2) victory to award the Saints the 7-0 sweep.
The Saints will look to continue with their momentum on January 23 when they take on the University of Rochester from the Newell Field House in Canton, N.Y.
