The Saints walked away with a Senior Day sweep on the day as the St. Lawrence University men's squash team came away with a 9-0 win over Dickinson on Saturday in the Robie Squash Center.
The Saints improved to 5-5 with the victory, while the Red Devils fell to 3-13.
After being honored before the match, the Class of 2025 went perfect on the day for the Scarlet and Brown.
At one,
Lewis Anderson lost his first game 11-6 to Joe Smythe but offered a gentlemen's sweep winning the next three 11-6, 11-5, and 11-7 to take the 3-1 win. At four,
Oliver Bikhazi-Green took on Samuel Knipp and went to five games. Bikhazi-Green and Knipp traded games leading to the final game where the Saints' senior took an 11-8 win.
Further down the lineup,
Hassan Madkour had little resistance, taking an 11-7, 11-7, 11-7 win against James Kiracofe in the sixth spot.
Harry Robson had a more interesting match at seven where he won his first two games 12-10 over Gorge Vollmer. After dropping the third game, Robson won the fourth 11-6 for the win.
Dean Brooker also had a sweep winning 11-9, 14-12, 11-8 against Menghou Du at eight, while
Alix du Plessis got a 3-1 win over Aidan Donnan at nine by the score of 12-10, 5-11, 11-4, 11-6.
Non-seniors Gregory Malsang,
Patrick Walford, and
Harrison Callaway accounted for the other three wins in the team victory.
The Scarlet and Brown will return to court next weekend when the team hosts the Liberty League Championships at the Robie Squash Center.
