Prior to St. Lawrence
Brooker played squash, tennis, field hockey, rugby, cross Country, and cricket at Woodridge College... During his time in school he played in teh number one spot for his varsity team and was a three-year captain... Brooker was ranked 2nd in the Eastern Province U19 Squash, and was ranked 20th in South African U19 Squash... Along with his squash, Brooker occupied the number one spot on the tennis team... In school, he earned the Academics Colors Award, and was Top-10 in his class year.
