Julia Gosling – PWHL Toronto - Round One | Pick Six
Gosling, a two-year captain for the Scarlet and Brown, was picked sixth as a first-round selection for the PWHL Toronto. Â
"We all couldn't be happier for Julia and her family," said head coach
Chris Wells. "To be selected in the first round of the PWHL draft is a fabulous accomplishment! We look forward to seeing her have the same impact for Toronto, as she had for our team and on the SLU campus. We talk about our alumni all the time and how we take care of our own and having Gina Kingsbury '04 draft Julia was an extra special piece to Julia's moment!"
Â

Mae Batherson – PWHL Minnesota - Round Six | Pick Thirty-Three
Batherson, a fifth-year graduate transfer from Syracuse, was picked thirty third overall in the sixth round by the inaugural Walter Cup Champions in PWHL Minnesota.
Â
"Mae really made the most out of her year here this past season and it has given her a great opportunity to play for Minnesota," said Wells. "She was only here for a year but made a huge impact in that time. I have coached very few players who love to play hockey more than Mae. It doesn't matter if it's Monday or Saturday, Mae plays with passion and a smile. We are very happy to have her join Julia in this year's PWHL draft!"
Â
As a graduate transfer finishing up her eligibility in Scarlet and Brown, Batherson shined on the ice for the Saints. She earned First-Team All-ECAC and was a three-time ECAC Defender of the Week. She tallied eight goals and 29 helpers for 37 points and in the game-one win over Yale in the quarterfinals, Batherson surpassed Annie Guay, who held the record for most points by a defenseman in a season with 35 in 2005-06.
