The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team closed their regular season on Saturday with a 9-0 loss to Hobart at the Sammis Tennis Courts.
St. Lawrence went to 8-10 overall with the win and 4-4 in Liberty League play, while the Statesmen improved to 14-5 overall and 7-1 in league play.
Broderick Pinto had the lone tiebreaker in the match but fell 6-4, 7-6 (8-6) to Nick Fischer in the number two singles spot.
After the match, the team honored the four members of the Class of 2024 in
Cole Hamilton Adam Heilbronner,
Ben Moolman, and
Bobby Tremont.
The team will now focus on the Liberty League playoffs at Cornell University next weekend.
