The St. Lawrence University men's hockey team, as the number seven seed in the ECAC Championships, swept third-seeded Colgate in the Quarterfinals to advance to the upcoming ECAC Championship weekend, March 22-23, hosted at the 1980 Herb Brooks arena in Lake Placid, N.Y.

The Skating Saints will take on number one-seeded Quinnipiac on Friday in a 4 p.m. matchup with the winner advancing to the ECAC Championship on Saturday at 5 p.m. against the winner of Cornell and Dartmouth.

Pregame Reception
Saints supporters are invited to a pregame reception in the Conference Center, attached to the Olympic Center. Space is limited so register today!

Reception is $20/person and includes hors d'oeuvre stations and a beverage ticket. Cash bar available.

ABOUT LAKE PLACID
Lake Placid annually hosted the ECAC Men's Hockey Championship for a 10-year period from 1993-02 and as well as in 2014-present. The arena has been used several times for college hockey championships in the United States. It hosted the 1970, 1984 and 1988 NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Championship, commonly referred to as the Frozen Four. The arena has hosted the NCAA Women's Ice Hockey Championship as well, in 2007.

The 13,450-seat multi-purpose venue was constructed for the 1980 Winter Olympics and seats approximately 7,700 for hockey.
