Julia Gosling has been selected by Hockey Canada as a member of Canada's National Women's Team and will make her debut in the upcoming 2024 IIHF Women's World Championship.
This year's games will take place from April 3-14 in Utica, N.Y.
Gosling has helped lead St. Lawrence to a 27-10-0 record so far this season and an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. She has scored 22 goals and added 29 assists for 51 points so far this season and has a +12 rating, scored seven game winners and nine power play goals.
Gosling will be joined by 19 members of the PWHL, along with four fellow ECAC competitors Danielle Serdachny, Sarah Fillier, and her cousin Nicole Gosling.
The IIHF 10-team tournament features Canada in Group A with Czechia, Finland, Switzerland and the host United States, while Group B includes China, Denmark, Germany, Japan and Sweden.
Canada opens Women's Worlds against Finland on April 4, and faces Switzerland on April 5 and Czechia on April 7 before closing out the preliminary round against its rivals from the United States on April 8.
