Laura Wells '23 returns to St. Lawrence as the women's lacrosse assistant coach, announced on Wednesday afternoon.

"I couldn't be more excited to have Laura join our staff," said head coach Tom Ryan. "Her passionate work ethic and unique insights will be a tremendous asset for the team this spring."

Wells also works as a Content and Outreach Coordinator for INTENT, collaborating with their social media manager to develop promotional content, and is currently working to capture and produce photo and video content to highlight 50 years of St. Lawrence women's hockey. She also works as a photographer and content creator and runs her own photography business Laura Wells Photography.

During her time with the Saints, Wells was a four-year member of the women's lacrosse team and served as a team captain and a team representative for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. She was also a Liberty League All-Academic honoree, who scored nine goals and tallied 13 assists for 22 points. She also recorded 15 ground balls and six caused turnovers.

Wells graduated Cum Laude from St. Lawrence in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Business, with a minor in math. She also studied abroad through the Kenya Semester Program.
