The Saints were only able to get one singles and one doubles win as the St. Lawrence women's tennis team fell 7-2 to Union on Friday afternoon in Schenectady, N.Y.
The Scarlet and Brown fell to 6-5 on the season and 2-3 in Liberty League play. Union improved to 7-5 overall and 4-2 in league action.
In doubles,
Caitlyn Avery and
Emily Harris took a win at doubles taking on Chara Meidani and Kennedy Alexis. The Saints' duo would take an 8-4 win sending St. Lawrence into singles down 2-1.
Molly Jespersen earned the lone win in number one singles taking a 3-0 win by virtue of an opponent retirement.
The Saints will head home and prepare for Senior Day on Sunday where the Scarlet and Brown will take on Bard.
