The Saints swept every doubles and singles match as the St. Lawrence University women's tennis team took a 9-0 win over RIT on Friday afternoon at the Newell Field House.
The Scarlet and Brown improved to 5-3 on the season and 1-1 in league play, while the Tigers fell to 3-6 and 1-4 in conference action.
The sweep started in the doubles portion where

Emily Harris (8-3), and
Angelica Aksdal-Jansen/
Elena Styliades (8-2) all delivered convincing wins.
In singles, Gamble and Jespersen both earned their second wins of the day at number one and two respectively taking 6-4, 7-5, and 6-3, 6-1 wins. At number three, Avery took on Gabby Donahue and took a 6-4, 6-0 win, while at number four Aksdal-Jansen stayed red-hot with a 6-0, 6-1 win in her match.
Harris also doubled up with her second win of the day at number five winning 6-2, 6-2. At number six,
Meredith Macey capped off the win with a convincing 6-0, 6-1 win over Devon Mills.
The Saints will be back at the Newell Field House tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. to take on RPI.
