The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team was nearly perfect as they cruised to an 8-1 win over George Fox University to close out their Spring Break trip on Thursday night.
St. Lawrence improved to 4-3, while George Fox fell to 5-6.

Molly Jespersen (8-3),
Angelica Aksdal-Jansen/
Elena Styliades (8-4), and
Emily Harris/
Meredith Macey (8-4) all came away with doubles wins to take the commanding lead.
In Singles, Gamble would double up with a 6-3, 1-6, 10-4 win at number one, while doubles partner Jespersen won her number two match 6-3, 6-0. At three, Aksdal-Jansen remained hot on the courts with another 2-0 day after taking a 6-1, 6-1 win. At four, Harris won 6-3, 6-1, then at five Macey battled to a 4-6, 7-5, 11-9 victory.
The Scarlet and Brown will fly home and prepare to take on RIT on March 31 at 5:00 p.m. in the Newell Field House.
