Angelica Aksdal-Jansen continued her great play with another two wins, but the St. Lawrence University women's tennis team dropped a 5-4 match against Hope College on Wednesday night in Orlando, Florida.
The Saints fell to 3-3 with the loss, while Hope College improved to 5-5.

Elena Styliades earned the lone doubles win for St. Lawrence as they defeated Annika Weeber and Hope Rhoades 8-6 at number three.
Hope would secure the top-three singles wins while the Scarlet and Brown won the bottom-three. At number four, Aksdal-Jansen came away victorious against Hope's Miyako Coffey 6-1, 6-0.
The matches at numbers five and six were much closer as they needed three sets. At number five,
Meredith Macey took on Rhoades and won the opening match 7-5, before dropping the next 1-6. The junior would take the final set 10-8 for the win. At number six,
Maya Stepic defeated Noa Bowen in similar fashion winning the opening set 6-1 before dropping set two 6-7. The newcomer earned her first Florida win with a 10-7 victory in the third set.
The Saints will close out their Spring Break trip tomorrow when the team takes on George Fox University at 3:00 p.m.
