The Rams stayed undefeated with a 75-66 win over St. Lawrence at a neutral venue in Middlebury, Vt., as the Saints stuck with the only remaining unbeaten squad in the MASCAC.
The Saints hit a trey to open scoring in the first but the Rams scored the next 11 points to jump out to an 11-3 lead. The Saints would battle back but the Rams would end the first up 21-14 and 44-36 going into the half.
The Rams would outscore the Saints 17-to-9 in the third and would hold a double-digit lead for most of the second half.
The Rams shot 39 per cent from the field and only 13 per cent from long range while the Saints shot 39% from the floor and 31% from downtown. It was ultimately turnovers that led to St. Lawrence's downfall. The Saints turned the ball over 18 times leading to 18 points for the Rams. Framingham State's eight turnovers only turned into four points for the Saints.
