Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Women's Soccer Celebrates The Class of 2024 on Senior Day

Before the game, the St. Lawrence University women's soccer team honored the five members of the Class of 2024 in captains Keely Snode and Grace Bridge along with Emma Reynolds, Britney Burns, and Hope Donoghue.

The Saints would fall 6-0 to No. 4 William Smith on Saturday afternoon at Sandy MacAllaster Field.

The Saints moved to 7-6-4 on the year and 3-4-2 in Liberty League play.

St. Lawrence would come out of the gate with a pair of good chances from Emma Casey, whose shot sailed wide of the net, and Grace Mochnal, who found the woodwork but was stopped by Kirsten Nelson.

Following a Heron goal Natalie Schock would also have a good look on goal that was stopped by the keeper.

Down 2-0 in the first half, Zoe Rogan nearly found the back of the net with a strike to the lower right corner of the net then Mia Cence's header sailed wide as the game went to the half.

The Scarlet and Brown kept pushing in the second half with shots from Sydney Keenan and Cence, but both were yet again stopped by Nelson in goal.

The Herons would score three goals in the second half before the game went to the final.

Snode stopped six shots in goal, while Darcie McDonough would make two saves in 14:17 of action.

St. Lawrence will learn their playoff fate at the end of the day after all of the Liberty League results come in.
